T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2022 Kia Sorento- Video
Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at Etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Tekonsha T1 trailer wiring harness on a 2022 Kia Sorento. Adding four-pole trailer wiring to any hitch install or if you already have a hitch installed on your vehicle, it's worth picking one of these up because you may not tow trailers a lot, but if you do have to get maybe something to move or just pull a small utility trailer, you're gonna need this to have light signals on that trailer to keep you safe and legal. And the way this works, it ties in directly to your turn signals, running lights and brake lights from your tail lights and just tease into it. And that way you don't have to cut or splice any of your factory wiring, and this is all module protected as well. And that simply means if there's any back feed that's not gonna go through here and damage your vehicle's wiring, it also has an inline fuse and that way you have double protection. As far as installation goes, this kit comes with everything that you'll need. more

Adding a four-pole trailer wiring harness is a great option or addition to adding a hitch on your vehicle, and that way if, for whatever reason, you may have to pull a trailer, you'll at least have the wiring ready for that situation. If you're planning on pulling a trailer, you're gonna wanna pick this up regardless. It's a nice easy installation because it ties in directly to your factory taillight plugs using OEM style and the great part too, this is module protected, as well as inline fuse protected. Today we have a 2022 Ford Transit T250 van and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install the Curt Four-pole Trailer Wiring Harness. Adding a four-pole trailer wiring harness to your van is gonna allow you to pull trailers with four poles on them. This wiring's gonna give you your stop and turn signals, your running lights, and then the last, the fourth pole is going to be your ground signal. If you need to pull trailers with seven poles on 'em, then you can pick up the ETBC7 kit. You'll still have to install this kit because the fourth pole will plug right into the ETBC7 and then you'll just have to run the last three wires, which would complete your seven pole in addition to your four pole. more

Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and later be showing you how to install this CURT 4-pole Wiring Harness on our 2014 BMW 3 Series. This is a universal kit, which I would normally stray away from just because they can be more involved and it's designed to work on really any vehicle. But in the case of this 3 Series here today, the installation was surprisingly smooth because the battery's in the back of the vehicle, you don't have to run much wiring and everything's very accessible for a clean install. Adding a seven-pole wiring harness to your vehicle is gonna allow you to safely pull either four-pole trailers or seven-pole trailers. You just have to get an adapter if you're wanting to pull a four-pole trailer. But having the seven-pole on here is gonna allow you to pull those trailers with brakes, auxiliary batteries, and reverse lockouts. Your four-pole plug is where you're gonna get those other four functions from, and that is your left and right turn. more

Hopkins Endurance Fifth Wheel Wiring Harness Installation - 2015 Ram 1500- Video
Hi, everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install this Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel and Gooseneck Wiring Harness on our 2015 Ram 1500. So this is going to be an in-bed solution for our 7-way wiring plug on our Ram 1500. So if we're towing a gooseneck or a 5th wheel trailer, we can have all of the proper signals and functions of that wiring in the bed. This is gonna come with 10 feet of wire, so plenty to get you from the bumper where your 7-way is up inside the bed of your truck. Now, it will require drilling a small hole in the bed of your truck, but that part's really not too bad, because the rest of it is just a plug and play connection, so it's really straightforward. more

If you have a hitch on your vehicle, it's always worth maybe adding that four-pole trailer wiring harness. So if you're ever in a situation where you do have to hook up to a trailer or tow something, maybe just once or twice, you're gonna have the light functions that will translate to the taillights on the trailer keeping you safe and legal when you use your running lights, your turn signals and brake lights. This kit in particular is specifically for the Palisade and that makes it super easy. So it tees into your factory wiring of your taillights by using a OEM style plug. So it just kind of jumpers in between the two. more

Adding a four and seven pole wiring harness to the back of your Colorado's gonna allow you to pull any type of trailer out there on the market, as long as it doesn't have a six pole on it. And if it has a six pole, you can get a seven to six pole adapter to pull those trailers too. Your four pole's gonna be here on the top. Your seven pole's gonna be on the bottom, and it's gonna be just like a factory plug as if you we're to get the hitch and wiring from the manufacturer. more

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at I'm gonna show you how to install the Curt 7-Pole Wiring Harness on our 2024 Buick Enclave. I would say that the 7-pole is the way to go if you're gonna have a wiring harness on here. 4-pole kind of limits you to only half the amount of trailers that you could tow. But having the 7-pole on here, the vehicle's already prepped for it, so all you'd have to get in addition to this is a brake controller if you wanted to pull a trailer with brakes. With the 7-pole, you are gonna get your standard 4-pole functions, which is going to be your left and right turn signal, your stop signal, and your running lights. more

Hey guys, it's Jake here with Etrailer, today we have a 2016 Honda Odyssey, and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the CURT four-pole wiring harness to tow trailers. This four-pole wiring harness is a great accessory to add to your Honda Odyssey. If you've already got a hitch receiver, I'd highly recommend adding a four-pole wiring harness, just in the odd chance that you may have to tow a trailer or if you're like the owner of this vehicle, they're wanting to pull a small camper. We're actually gonna be pairing this with our ETBC7L kit. That is a seven-pole kit with just the power wire run so that they can use the CURT Echo, plug it in, and they can tow their camper with it. Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look at installing the CURT custom trailer wiring for a seven-pole on a 2018 GMC Acadia. Your Acadia should have a tow package. And if that's the case, getting seven-pole wiring while having a hitch on your vehicle is a smart move, especially if you ever plan on using a trailer with trailer brakes. This is gonna be a component required for that to work. You're also gonna need to pick up a brake controller separately, but this is also gonna give you your light function, so it's gonna keep you legal when towing a trailer. more

Hey guys, it's take Jake with etrailer. Today we have a 2023 Hyundai Palisade and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Curt 4-Pole Trailer Wiring Harness. Now the biggest reason why you would want to install a four-pole trailer wiring harness on your Palisade is because you're wanting to pull a trailer that has a four-pole wiring harness. If you want to pull a trailer that has brakes on it, you're gonna wanna upgrade to a seven pole. We have an ETBC7 kit on our website that will go great with the Palisade and this Curt kit in order to get brakes and your auxiliary and your reverse lights to that trailer. But for our case, they're wanting to pull a small utility trailer that does not have any, it doesn't have the seven pole, and it doesn't have brakes on it. more

If you are in need of trailer wiring for your Chevy Traverse, don't pay someone to do it, believe me, this is something you can absolutely get done in your driveway or in your garage. This is Tekonsha's four-pole flat trailer wiring kit that we installed on our 2023 Chevrolet Traverse. Now four-pole wiring is gonna give you the basic lighting functions that you need for either a trailer or hitch-mounted accessories that have auxiliary lighting on them, so you're gonna get your brake lights, your tail lights, your left turn signal, and your right turn signal, now if you're needing more than that, if you have a camper, say, with either electric brakes or a 12-volt auxiliary out. We also have kits for your Traverse, that's gonna have the big seven-pole wiring on the back, and it'll install much the same way as this kit here. Now we'll take a close look at the Tekonsha, on the one end, we're gonna have the molded four-way flat plug. more

Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2016 Ford Transit T150- Video
Well neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the Curt 4-Pole Trailer Wiring Harness on a 2016 Ford Transit T-150. Adding 4-pole trailer wiring harness to a Transit is a great idea if you have a hitch because if you ever plan on pulling a trailer, you're gonna need to get the lights sequence to be able to go to the lights on the trailer, and this is a great way to do it because it plugs in directly to your factory style plugs that you have on your taillight. And this one is module protected, meaning any back-feed that might occur from the trailer, it's not gonna harm anything on the vehicle. Not only is it module protected, but it also has an inline fuse, so you don't have to worry about any of that causing issue. Now as far as installation goes, this is pretty easy. You're gonna take your taillights out, and we're gonna be plugging 'em in there. more

Now, if you've added a hitch to your Impreza, it's not a bad idea to pick up some four-pole trailer wiring harness. That way, in case you ever pull a trailer, you can hook up to this four-pole, giving you your running lights, your turn signals, and brake lights. And this is a nice easy system because it plugs directly into your factory taillights with factory style connectors. So there's not a whole lot of cutting, or cutting and splicing that you really have to do. more

Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness on our 2023 Kia Sportage. This is gonna give you a 4-way connector on the back of your vehicle, giving you running lights, brake lights and turn signals with any trailer that you plan on towing. And even some accessories like bike racks will utilize something like a 4-pole to give you those signals at the back of a bike rack if you plan on using that with your Sportage. Our connector is located pretty far down underneath but it's attached to a bracket on our hitch. Not included, but it does utilize that really well in our kit, our kit today and the kit does come with a dust cover to keep it protected whenever it's not in use. more

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2024 Buick Enclave and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'll show you how to install the Curt four-pole trailer wiring harness. Now the main reason for installing a four-pole wiring harness on the back of your vehicle is because you're wanting to pull a trailer. Either that or you're wanting to haul an accessory that might have brake lights on it. There's a lot of accessories out there, bike racks and cargo carriers that have accessory lights on the back 'cause your state might require if your tail lights are blocked or even if you have an accessory in the back that you have to have auxiliary tail lights. Those are the two biggest reasons of why you would want to put four-pole wiring on the back so that you can transfer those lighting signals safely to the accessories or to your trailer to let others know what your intentions are. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the CURT seven pole trailer wiring on a 2014 Ford Explorer. Now this is gonna be a great addition to adding a hitch to your vehicle, whether you have a trailer as a seven pole or if it needs a brake controller. This is gonna be the first step of that because you're gonna need that seven pull function that's gonna allow you to get a harness and brake controller installed super easy. Overall, this installation is pretty simple. It's using that factory plug, so really you should be able to knock this out in about 15 minutes or so. So as far as installation goes, I'm gonna walk you through all of those steps to make sure that you get yours installed. more

Transits are used for a bunch of different things and a lot of times for business people will be able to pull a trailer. So if you have a hitch on your T-350, it's very beneficial to pick up four pole trailer wiring harness and that way when you plug into your trailer, you'll have those light sequence headed to the lights on the trailer and that way you stay safe and legal. And this kit will plug in directly to your factory lights. You don't have to cut any major wires as far as the factory ones. Now, the trouble I found is the clips aren't exactly great. more
